You know how leaving grass cuttings on the ground is dangerous for horses? Well after we've harrowed (which we're doing ourselves at the weekend) do I need to keep the horses out of the fields until the moss and weeds and other bits and pieces raked up have shrivelled up and disappeared??

Never done this before and that's just occurred to me! :sluggish:

Our first attempt harrows kept climbing up the tractor tyres (chain attachment was too short) Our neighbour just sat on the fence chuckling and then told us where we were going wrong!! We provided them all with much amusement in our first couple of years as land owners!!
