Hi I'm having trouble with the canter. Every time I get the horse cantering I have trouble staying in the saddle and I get really nervous my hands fly everywhere and I come close to falling out of the saddle when my horse turns
you have probably heard this before but just relax
try and make your seat really deep as if your sinking into a pool. and just rock with the motion
when i first started cantering my instructor told me to move my stomach with the motion and it worked. just try and do those like wave things you do with your body you know like where your shoulders go back and stomach forwards then shoulders forward and stomach back and so on and so forth.
