How much do you pay for livery??

£28 a week for DIY inc hay&straw all year round.

I have stable, space in communal feed room, hay/straw, use of lungin pen and outdoor menage, another menage being built, use of private (ie our yard only) off road hacking - miles and miles of it, help ie bringing in/turnout whenever I need it. Grass isn't great and YO is VERY disorganised but nice big stables in indoor barn and private yard so no strangers about and 2 very large guard dogs!
 
i pay £15 a week and thats for diy with massive stable and 20-30 of grass but not allowed out from 1st of november to 1st of april

also i get first pick of the best hay in my town for a reduced cost.
 
I pay £45 per week DIY! just stable, tack room, and field but got loads of turnout and can do 24/7 whenever we want. Fences are barbed wire and school needs resurfacing, but we pay cause of the area it is in (big posh houses, - not where i live!!) and turnout in most yards round us is limited - we are inside the M25!
Still very expensive!!

Blimey I think I need to move!!

£75 part livery-includes all feed, hay and shavings. I muck out and turn out 3x a week and I poo pick. Irritatingly, when I muck out, its the only time the bed gets turned!!! No foot picking either. No school, just a lot of mud!!:eek:
 
I keep my horses at home my stables are in my back garden

I rent a large field behind my stables for free, about 6 acres

I rent a small paddock at the side of my garden from local farmer (teeny weeny, takes months to grow any grass and takes the horses a day to eat it all) £8.00 per week, very expensive but very handy. I use it more for schooling in

The farmer i rent small paddock from does livery at £8.00 per week for grass livery and £18.00 per week for diy with stable and unlimited turnout plus haylage during the winter
 
£22 p/w ea horse,DIY,with unlimited straw, for own bay with a tackroom and feed room and large new stables. 2 outdoor door schools with new jumps, round pen, wash room with hot water and good TO. Miles of hacking. Beautifully maintained, nice owners.
 
mines £50 pw for one on grass livery- but they do his rugs/hard feed etc if he needs them and £75 pw for part livery buts its really full as its 7 days and they do everything except ride him. outdoor school and in the middle of the new forest so pretty good hacking on your doorstep :D
also can park my trailor there for free.
 
£139 per month including hay, for DIY with stable, turnout, shared tack room, and use of facilities.
 
My old yard was completely ludicrous. My boy was on working livery which was £90 p/w five years ago (No, I am not making this up - to put this in perspective the yard is currently running a 2 days p/w part share scheme for £65 per week). Their full livery was about £140/£150 p/w IIRC. Then again this is London.
 
i pay £17.50 a week for DIY livery

but there are other costs like if i want to use the menage its £4
the indoor is free to use..but in winter we need to put 20p in the meter for electric but thats only 15mins lol!
if i want to use the horsewalker its £4
shavings are £6.50..if i didnt buy from them i would have to pay a small amount for the muckheap to be taken away
turnout rugging up and feeding is free but we're usually there before they even start feeding and turning out lol!
and we get our hay for £35 but thats two HUGE round bales! we bought ours 4 weeks ago and we are starting the second bale on wednesday

so all in all i think its worth it
 
I won't tell everyone how much i pay, as all i pay is water and electric for 3acres, 3 stables and barn. But a livery down the road from me is £92 a month, for just DIY all that is included is a stables, share of a tack room and grazing!!!! no school or facilities and to hack you have to cross a very very busy road!!! So mine are staying where they are :)
 
I pay £25 per week for DIY for one stable. Grazing all year round...no feed/bedding/hay included in that and I have the use of an outdoor floodlit school (well...a sandy boggy fenced off area!!)

My old yard was £40 per week DIY in summer and £30 per week in winter.
Feed, hay and bedding included. I had use of two outdoor floodlit schools but only when lessons weren't on (which was hardly ever - it was a RS too) however...your horse HAD to be out during the summer and HAD to be in during the winter.
Sounds like some people on here have really good livery! :)
 
I pay £1000 a year, 6 monthly in advance, for the use of 6 acres to graze/school/ride in, a tack room, hay store, electric, water and stabling. For that i can have a maximum of 2 horses, although i only have one due to time/situation commitments. I also have use of a 3 acre field for riding/groundwork etc from a local friendly farmer:)

so mine works out £19.20 a week for one or £9.60 a week per horse for two.

It's not a yard though so have to provide own bedding/hay/feed/fencing etc
 
£25 pw for DIY including field for my friend and me, stable with lights, hay area, tack cupboard, free use of nearby X country course, and good hacking. No feed or hay. No manege, although there's one down the road we can hire for £5 a time. Owner will help out if my friend or I can't manage to get there. But as its at the end of my road that's unusual. It works really well for me.:)
