I think she;s looking pretty good!

In the Starting Box, she is looking focused! She shot out once I gave the signal. She looks calmer than she felt underneath me! I think my silly grin is nerves, or maybe I was just trying to pretend I was happy. At that point I was petrified!

She looks fantastic!! Wow that corner looks tricky but she is flying all of them.

Really wonderful pics you two make a great pair! Onwards and upwards I'm sure :)

Thanks @Ale
She is also looking surprisingly clean and shiny for a horse who has wintered out unrugged in a mud-bath!
I've never given her a bath as last Spring/summer she was still too young and stressy and this year it had not yet been warm enough until the day of the trials. I never use products on her either as I worry about the saddle slipping or the reins being too slippery if I use Canter Coat or anything. So I thought we'd be a right scruffy pair but we scrub up ok I think!

She looks very shiny and well! Also love her face in second to last pic, so much concentration and enjoyment at the same time, she just looks so happy. She's a lovely mare.

Well done she is looking very shiny, did you have her unrugged but clipped out?

Those jumps look great, ideal for getting a youngster out :)

She was unrugged and fairly hairy till a few days before and then she was clipped when the weather was better. She gets way too hot in a rug even when clipped. I have tried! She has shelter and seems to thrive naked even when all my others are rugged up.

She sounds very similar to Ben, he hates being rugged and does very well naked throughout winter, even when clipped.

Thanks @Mary Poppins
I do feel we have come a long way. So have you and Ben! You do loads with him.

Thank you. We jumped a wall in a showjumping competition for the first time last Saturday. It was only 2ft but I felt like we had won the grand national as he jumped it so well. We are concentrating more on dressage at the moment but I do still love our mini jumping trips.

Great pics, she looks ace! What a fab pony she is!

Don't like the look of that corner! She looks like she's flying along though.

Got to say loving the pink colours :p

She didn't like the corner at all! Looking at the pic I think you can see the tight mouth and clamped tail. In contrast to all the other pics where she looks happy and relaxed. Bless her, she was very brave and jumped it anyway. But I think that is why she had a stop at the next. She just needed a moment to regroup and regain her confidence.
