It's very light weight and I keep putting my arms in it and all her coat is warm and dry under it even in the sideways freezing rain last night.

I bought it so I didn't have to worry about taking rugs on and off as Im only up once a day. She's a good doer so only needs something to keep her dry.

When I went up today it was filthy so I think she's enjoyed rolling in it. Will let you know how she goes in it this winter.

Maya isnt chunky so doesnt need much shoulder room. It has quite a bit of overlap where it fastens at the front and maya is wearing hers at about 3/4s over lapped so there would be more room for bigger shoulders and chest. It also has a large tail flap which is nice

Yes it can go on damp. It says on it that it can be used from -15C to up to 20C.

This is the first year ive had to rug as shes out 24/7 now rather than in a large barn.

im lucky in that ive only bought one rug previously so ive spent what i would have done on med weights, rain sheets on this one rug.

I like the fact that she can fluff up her own fur and regulate her own temp rather than me second guessing with different weight rugs.

Im fed up at looking at the weather every second but now i dont have to so much.

Hmmmm very interesting, i may invest in one for Sully. He currently wears a 6ft rug but toying with the idea of a 6ft 3 because he is only 3.5yrs and still has some growing/filling out to do.

Just not sure which would be best to go for!

im sorely tempted too...

i never rug xander but with my new yard move coming up he's going to change to out 24/7 (he's normally out 24/7 in summer, out in day/in at night in winter). he will have a field shelter but thats it, so i think i will need to rig him. i have rugs from last yr - 1xstable rug, 1xfleece, 2xLW TOs. but i wont be able to go twice a day as i do now unless its really important like if the water freezes or whatever, so dont want to be sat at work on a mild day panicking about him overheating. i think they sound brill and will be perfect for my new situation.

It looks very good. The only thing I didn't like was that it is only a 600 denier shell.

I checker for pressur spots as i was worried about them indenting but as the rug is light weight and they are squidgy and not connected to each other there is nothing pressing anywhere more than a regular rug. Will keep an eye on it though and keep you guys updated.
