Is any worth following Equine Instagrammer or influencer?

It depends on if you blindly follow or have the sense and judgement to look at what they say and apply it in a suitable way. For coming on forums like this I don't think it's terribly useful, if we wanted to know what Fred Blog's view on something was I'd look up his page or book to find out myself rather than get it second hand.

I follow a few people on Facebook because I like some of their work, and sometimes they have interesting content, but I don't really see it as engaging with the equine community, to do that you actually need to interact with people, hold conversations etc.

I would stay well away. Some are total snakepits with witches circling!

I write my blog. I mention only what I truly believe in, use regularly, cannot live without. I pay for it too. I don't get freebies. Having said that I was sent a free animal thermometer when I emailed them to ask what the error message was and the girl who phoned back was so kind.

If you are lonely and want to talk horses, there are plenty of FB groups.

I watch a few videos that appeal to me for entertainment - mainly ThisEsme and FootLuceEventing
Hey! I like ThisEsme too! I really like the way she shares her life with her horses, also some of her personal life. It is very healing to watch especially after a long day! By the way, do you know Erin Williams? She is pretty tho!

I watch the trainers I watched at demos pre Covid. Michael Peace, Richard Maxwell and Mark Rashid. There is now a charge for Rashid. I pay it but then forget to go to his site.

I have some DVDs too from my early days of riding. Pippa Funnell. Richard Davison.

I went to a couple of Dressage days on one of which Carl Hester and Davison discused their (different) ways of teaching and asking for a flying change.

I miss my dressage lessons but it is a dilemma. There were safety issues at my old RS. I currently share and hack the loveliest, safest, most comfortable mare but, like my Maisie, she does not do well with lateral work or the school.
