Planned on taking daughter to the beach today but now sat on the sofa with a coffee reading NR then going to do some housework, it's pouring down outside and TBH I very much doubt we will get to the beach today now. If it stops we may go for a hack later but after getting drenched to our inner layers the other day I don't plan a repeat performance today lol x

It hammered down here early this morning, I left at 7 and it had stopped by then, but everything being sopping wet adjusted my plans for today, I cleared out my shed instead :) buy its grey and hot now, it feels like we need another storm.

Our lot are having today off to do what horses do, eat :D:D. It's not going to brighten up by the looks of it and so my older daughters now popped out to visit friends. Hopefully it's dry on Wednesday or we get a nice evening this week so we can get to the beach. x

Hehehe I've got my jodhs on ready!lol just waiting for OH to finish his work for the day, then we can boot the ginger one up and I can have a wander on him. It's so funny cos I thought the girls would pay more attention when we took him out to ride him, but no, they just try their best to become invisible lol almost as though they are worried I might tack them up too!!!:p

its drizzling here grey an overcast well done trewsers on riding the big guy :D but he feels massive to Storm
Thanks, he does feel a lot bigger than her, but, he feels good - and I don't feel too small on him if that makes sense? He's so laid back too. Lol he is the first horse I've ridden in ages that I haven't managed to turn into a speed demon!!

Do they just feel too far up for you? Storm is 15hh but maybe it helped me because I rode the schoo cobs who were about 15.2hh but felt "big" if you know what I mean. And Joe was 16.3ish so I guess Zi at 17hh doesn't feel that much different. I do need the kitchen chair to get on tho:oops:

They do just feel too far up... and i fell from a 13.2 hh and broke 3 ribs it would be much higher to farm of a 16-17 hh :(
Oooh ouch. I can see why you'd be feeling that way! Do you have a bp? I gained loads of confidence on madam wearing one. But I need a new one maybe, didn't wear it today, but am thinking of when we do some road work I ought to.
