Itchy goat update

Well, poor Zoom seemed even worse this morning so I got the vet out - she's not too sure what is wrong with him but gave him three different jags just incase!!

It's def not an infestation of anything, might have had a reaction to all the sun we've been having?, might be a reaction to buttercups - but no swelling or blisters around mouth so doubtful. Will wait and see how he does over the next couple of days - she has suggested getting him a fly rug - anyone on here got rugs for their goats??

Oh poor zoom. Hope he feels better soon. I would love to see a goat in a fly rug! You could set a new trend, move over paris hilton with your rat in a bag, and come on goats in clothes!

Try dinky rugs - I dont know about fly rugs but they deffo do doneky turnouts, so surely thats a similar frame?? (Long slim body??)

CAn't help or offer any advice but just wanted to say what a splendid name Zoom!!!!!! And how fabulous having a goat, and what is more, thinking about goat rugs!! I love goats (even tho they do get bad press sometimes!!!lol)

Yep - called Zoom as when he first arrived he "zoomed" straight over two field gates to escape!!
