Lovely Lincoln :)
I was just wondering how the Joules clothing come up size wise? I am a 14-16 at the mo, but I like my riding tops to be looser as If they were the right size (as in close fitting) I would look silly (combined with my hugee thighs and jods lmao!) I really want a Joules Sweatshirt, maybe the stripy one (i dont know what its called but its pale blue/grey) but im not sure whether the largest one would come out baggy. I dont want one that is close fitting. I like to be comfy around horses and even better if I can get my body protector under it!. So, if you know about how Joules clothing fits, or have a Joules sweatshirt can you advise me on the sizing and fit of these clothes? Thanks!

I find that I always have to buy the next size up (I'm a 12 so buy a 14) as they are quite tight fitting! I'm a huge fan of the polo shirts and mistakenly bought one size 12, was incredibly tight felt like a 10!
Still have it in my wardrobe though in the off chance I will drop down a size ;)

I agree that they're on the small side. I'm a 12 and have 2 "large" size Joules tops with are a good fit (not tight).

The sweatshirts etc are usually fine and the right size, I have one that is a size small but for the polos im only comfortable in size 18 as the come up short. Jumpers tho are fine ive got some lovely wool jumpers in the sale size 16 and they fit perfect.

It depends which product it is for me.
Im a size 8 in normal clothes so bought a size 8 polo & it was fine, same with my stripey sweatshirt type top aswell.
Then i got a coat in size 8 (the dakota one i think:rolleyes:) & it was massive on me! Almost as if it were a size 12 lol

If your worried about getting a size too big/small why not find somewhere near you that stock joules clothes? That way you can try things on :)

I am a size 8 and have a size 14 joules top which fits ok!! (it was in a sale and I liked it so hoped it would shrink in the wash lol) its on the larger side but doesnt look silly so I'd say go for the size 18 if you like your tops looser rather than tighter.

I am totally addicted to joules clothing, it's gorgeous. Anyway..... I'm a bit on the large size chestwise so I go for a 12 in sweatshirts, when I normally need a 14. Having said that I have a stretchy zip up thats a size 8. They do seem a bit random! Also to be honest I bought a size M polo shirt and it was massive on me. Sorry that's not much help is it!! Jo x

when i was a size 14/16 (i'm a 12/14 now) i bought a size 14 joules 'pip' polo shirt...fitted great, and it still fits now fine, just a little looser.
