Hello all fonts of wisdom and knowledge:)

Does anyone know of any livery facilities that you could recommend around Hythe/Folkestone/Canterbury/Ashford? I've had a look at some but haven't found any that I'd be really happy with, for various reasons.

hiya i know some in folkestone

limes farm equestrian centre
upper standin farm
green hill
theres a few along the alkham valley

ive had my horses at upper standin farm (reeli nice there)
greenhill (wouldnt go back unless i HAD 2!!) BUT ITS ALL PERSONAL CHOICE!! WHERE BOUTS U FROM??

There's a livery yard in Ashford called Blue Barn. That's meant to be good. I used to ride someone's horse there when it was a riding stables. They have really good facilities.

There is a fabulous yard in Brabourne Lees (in between hythe and ashford) called Pemsey Stables:

owners live on site
attractive stable block
spacious stables
plenty of grazing
floodlit sandschool
flexible livery options
and most importantly, the YO is NICE!!!!!

I kept my horse there for a yr, would def. go back. Only reason I moved was as space came up at a yard 5 mins from my house.

No doubt nutkin will fill you in on where NOT to go!!! ;)

Thats quite a wide search area.

The one i would reccomend in Kent is Crumps farm in St.Nicolas at Wade. Its right off the A299 so is really easy to get too. I love it there. if i was still in kent i would be there in a second.

i used to know of a good one at Little Petts Bottom, near wye near ashford.kent. it was called MARBEDAN riding school but did liverys too. anyone knoe if its still going??

My ex inlaws live in Ashford - a village called smeeth. Lovely part of the country.

Sorry I cant be of help - If they were stilll talking to me I would enquire for you!:D
