Looking at new pony.

It's really hard to find the right horse, but trust me one is out there, you just have to take your time and be really careful you get the right one for you.
It is frustrating, but it will be worth it in the end when you get one who will take care of you and who you'll feel really confident with. Good luck!

We have bought 2 ponies for our daugter - not as same time LOL!
We LOOKED at over 50 ponies before we bought the first one as it had to be perfect as child was only 5 at time
its worth keep on looking till you find "the one" - its out there
I am already keeping my eye open as we reckon she's only got another year on her pony she's got now so I am already looking around as if we find the right one I'd rather buy now and put on loan till she's ready to move on - and put on loan on our yard so I can be 10000% sure it remains sane!

I am one of those crazy people who bought the first horse I looked at, and I'm aware that I was very lucky but now I wouldn't change her for the world, quirks and all 
I think you will know when it is the right one - I had some vague doubts but she was so good ridden and had such a nice temperament (even tho obviously stressed there was no bad behaviour, just a bit skittish). So good luck with the hunt, I'm sure the right one will come along soon

Agree with Happy Bunny - I had been given horses previously, bought a horse that I thought would be perfect and we are now having issues BUT when I got on him I knew he would be right for me and am thinking that again after first lesson with an instructor, I am pretty sure he will - just not as quickly as I thought. When you get on one that is right, you will know - bit like men really!!
