.... if for example you were allergic to some medications (those used mostly by paramedics for pain relief) and you hack out alone alot would you wear one?? Does anyone else wear one when hacking or just when competeing?

I don't wear one because I don't have any medical allergies/requirements (I'm so boring ), but it sounds like a good idea if you do.

I'm supposed to wear a medic alert. I have tonic pupils and an allergy to sulfa. Basically if you shine a light in my eyes, my pupils don't respond. I have been mistaken for being drugged because of it. Luckily my eyes didn't freeze in a pinprick position, but a dilated position so I look normal except in bright lights.

if it was something that was going to affect my health should i have a fall and need medical attention then yes I would wear one.
I do carry a medical card around with me in my purse as I have no spleen due to some disease that i cant really pronounce or spell!! not life threatening but just something that doctors need to be aware of

If it makes you feel safer then do...though if you're unconscious a paramedic wouldn't give you any pain relief as it is counter-effective (and they wouldn't know you were in pain!!)
