name for black lab pub?

Went to see him tonight, he's mine. Owner rang the other guy and he said he has changed his mind. So luckily for me i now have a black lab pup arriving xmas eve. Yeah.

He's very lively, chewing my shoes, biting fingers and generally being a pest, still need a name to suit him.

I'd ideally like a name that suits him or his colour,

Onyx - black gemstone
Phantom - as in phantom of the opera
Bandit - usually dressed in black.

get those brains ticking.
 
Why not something simple - like Ben?

My gran had a black lab/GSD cross called "Beauty" (for obvious reasons). She never wagged her tail - it just spun around! :D

Remember, a puppy's not just for Christmas; it's for sandwiches on Boxing Day, too! :D

Some ideas (i just googled 'black' aha)
In Japanese culture, kuro (black) is a symbol of nobility, age, and experience.
Nero (like i mentioned above) is black in Italian.
Onyx is a gemstone as you know lol.
Bear (like a black bear :eek: )
Tynan apparently means 'the dark one' in Gaelic (could be Ty for short)

I like Nero & Onyx most :)

Nah im glad you like it though :) Good suggestion from your mum, i really like that name, i think unusual names are best.
