This is what lead to Freyja's tussle in the swing bin the other night. If you are not quick she beats you to the door and comes and does a tour of inspection.

I love the colour of her feet - they look so bright! (And powerful!!!!)

I think it's the lights, they are not that bright IRL. It's generally egg yolks from the chicks that turns their legs and feet bright yellow, and I de yolk all the chicks she gets

I did wonder if it was the light making them look that colour. She is lovely isn't she?

She's a totally different person to son's bird. Totally different characters, You can walk into Vi's aviary with food in your hand and she will wait for you to give it to her. You dare not do that with Freyja, She's foot you badly if you did,

Son was the first on hand yesterday when she killed her rabbit. and he's used to handling his bird. He took liberties with Freyja and she got him and took a while before we could get her to let go.
