So vet came down to do Sox's teeth said he might have EOTRH. Which I know I have done a thread of previously.
However Sox is complicated. He has cribbed for the last 14 years off his life. He has IBD which is in remission and has been for years. Hes had lami and has ppid which is controlled. He stresses weight off. Recently he been declining to open his mouth at times for the bit. Which isn't like him. The problem I have is if I get some of the effected teeth removed and he physically can't crib. I run the risk of him colicing or setting his IBD off again ( the treatment for IBD is steroids £150 for a 10 day course 11 years ago and he was on the course for 3 months) which he can't have due to lami.
Its a really hard position to be in as I can't bring back his teeth if I have them removed.
Any thoughts?.
