Plas Equestrian Harness

Anyone ever used a plas equestrian harness?

How did it wear? Was it good quality? What did you think of it overall?

i bought a second hand set of plas equestrian (the starter set, i think) webbing harness, from a friend, in 2003. i have only recently bought another set of harness. i have had to replace the strapping on the pad and girth a couple of times, as the rivets, had come of in the washing machine and although i pushed a hot screwdriver through to seal the holes, they eventually lost shape, so i replaced them. you just post the pad to them and they send it back quickly, and i thought, at a reasonable price. i think the set does very good milage, for what it is. and i could have replaced the straps agin, but just felt like a change, so am still keeping the plas set as a spares set. the only think i didnt really like about it is that the pad is a little narrow, but that may well have changed now.

I've just seen the starter set, I was looking at the intro set, which is biothane/beta material.

My driving instructor used one on her shetland as she said it was one of the few harnesses she'd found to sensibly fit them. She highly recommended it and it seemed to be nicely made from what I saw of it.

I used plas equestrian pairs and tandem harness and they were great, lasted very well and are still about at about...um 15 years old
