Progressive transition???

Hi all,

Just wondered what this meant, reading through my test for next month and it says:

E Half 20 metre circle left in free walk on a long rein

B Transition (progressive) to medium walk

What you reckon??????

it simply means from free walk on a long rein pick up the rein and go to medium walk before picking up working trot

So basically they are just trying to worry me! lol thats what every other test does but it never says it like that!

lol yep, just make sure you show a good 4 steps or so of medium walk before you pick up the trot and you'll be fine

Means take up the rein gradually, you don't have to go from long rein to snatching up a contact in one stride.

A half circle in free walk???? I don't believe we have that in Australia. We have a loop from MXF and across the diagonal, but not a half circle for E to B. That's gotta be hard to get accurate.

It's a common move here and popular in freestyles as well.
It's not difficult to ride but some people do tend to make the half circle to shallow.
