Recommendations for Equine Vets - Ashford, Kent and Milton Keynes please?

Can you help please.

We're going to see 2 ponies this weekend

one near Ashford in Kent

the other near Milton Keynes

They both sound great on paper so if anyone can recommend vets for pre-purchase exam that would be great so I could get things moving asap next week.

They did my 5 stage vetting and are also my registered vets now. They are based on the Northants border a few miles out of MK but cover all the MK area as well

I am in Ashford, have used Milbourne Equin for over 30 years and can really recommend them. Their number is 01233 500505.

Cinque Ports are now part of Milbourn - they merged a few months ago.

I'm in MK as well (same yard as acw295) and my vet is Gethin Maddocks, at Meadowbrook Equine Clinic, who is very good and has a great way with horses - my mare loves him!! Their office number is 0845 296 6675. My friend uses Chiltern Equine who she really likes, and rates - she has had a number of health problems with her horses, from sarcoids to joint problemas, and Chiltern have been excellent. Their main office is down in south Bucks, but they have a branch at Slapton, about 12 miles from MK. Their number is 01525 222099.

Finally, there is Baskerville Horgan at Aylesbury (I think they are called Hampden Equine Clinic now). I can vouch for Terry Horgan doing extremely good and thorough vettings - have watched him do do two now, and he is great. The equine practice number is 01296 432633.

Hampden did Jess' vetting and they are good, but prefer the vets at towcester. Please steer clear on Jane Nixon though!

I'm near MK and use meadowbrook equine clinic, I have Poppy rather than Gethin and she's fab (I'm sure Gethin is too!!!). Have also heard very good things about Terry Horgan.
