Recommendations for roll on fly spray?

Does anyone use a good one? I want to put some on my new loan horses face in an attempt to keep them off his eyes. He currently wears a fly rug but his owner doesn't want him in a fly mask as he once got a fly in it and it sent him mad! (Understandably!) And she's not keen on him wearing a headcollar and fly fringe in the field as we're not at a livery so other than when my friend or I are there there's no-one around for large stretches of the day, so no-one to alert us quickly if it got caught or anything.

I do put fly spray on him too if he's not wearing his rug or if we're riding but he doesn't like it much and obviously I wouldn't want to spray round his face anyway.

Any ideas? Ideas as to get him to accept that I will spray fly spray on his body too gratefully received!!

I use a sponge and spray the fly repellent on the sponge and gently wipe around the eyes.

I use NAF fly gel. Just put it on with my fingers.

Excellent thank you! And is the NAF one any good? I've never been very impressed with any of the ones I've tried which is why I thought I'd ask for recommendations!
