Hey there new riders! I started a YouTube channel for beginning riders and more experienced riders. I have a few how to videos and tips as well as just vlogging. But I am posting to ask if anyone has any video requests or suggestions for a video you would like to see. I already have how to groom, how to bridle, how to saddle, how to mount, how to approach horse, tips for basic safety around horses and more. My channel is Kacypony if you search that on YouTube. Also feel free to critique videos so that I can continue to improve on them in the future. Thank you so much! Wishing you all happy riding!

I'll be having a look :) I'm still trying to understand how I can improve my sitting trot in terms of weight, balance, and keeping the horse moving o_O I am grateful for any tips so will be checking it out (when I'm out of the office and my youtube isn't blocked :D:rolleyes:)

Okay thanks for your response! I can definitely make a video about tips for improving the sitting trot. That's a good idea for a video. I remember I used to have a lot of trouble, with staying balanced and moving with the horse, so I know where you are coming from.

Yup - I've been told to do different things by different instructors to help with this. One says to hold on to the saddle so that my bottom is glued to the saddle, and another has told me to push down on the pommel so that I move with the saddle. These actions seem to be opposites to me but both have some logic. It can get quite confusing though when you're trying to get the basics right
