I am a 25 year old novice seeking a safe and sensible horse to share which I can learn to look after and which will look after me. I can offer you and your horse a calm and sensible approach, and am willing to take my lead and learn from you in how your horse is to be handled. I currently ride at my riding school once or twice a week, I am competent in walk, trot and canter but don't jump yet so would be mainly interested in hacking and some flatwork. I prefer hacks to be chilled out and a time to clear your head in the countryside, I pay close attention to ground conditions and the safety of horse and rider.
Breed, sex and height are unimportant (I'm 5'6” and 8st4lb). I am based in South West Edinburgh (Currie/Balerno area), so would prefer someone within easy travelling distance from there.
