So Faran has been a bit off the last week or so. Not lame but not his usual forwards self. So after we moved stables, same yard but down one as I wanted in the corner out the way (antisocial person that I am 
) after my friend moved, I went over him with a fine tooth comb. He has a touch of mud fever on his legs, I knew about one leg but found he has a touch on three out of four, also his hamstrings were like piano wire, tight and sore. We do have deep mud in the field so I’m thinking growth spurt (he’s gone a bit supermodel again) and the thick mud has him sore.
So gave him a nice massage all over and then went up to the school to stretch his legs with his new next door neighbour and he was clearly feeling better so after a buck and a fart he started showing off. He such a dragon when he wants to be.
