Eariwigs - never grew out of calling them that. Don't like them, but don't see them that often down here. The only other things I see with pincers are stag beetles - I feel sorry for them - they always end up on their backs and the birds get them.
Lots of little black beetles on the path in Mortimer Forest this morning. Jet black on their top but either purple or a purple-coloured reflective sheen on their underneath.

Today I decided to work on the shelter. I need her and me to have to the option to be able to get out of the sun, wind, rain etc.

A bit of a weird one on my hack this evening. Struggled riding and leading to get my phone out on the hillside so its a sideways shot im afraid but i think you can get the gist. Even billy was a bit like what the heck.
