Hi whats the standard spacing between trotting poles please? I have a 13.2 and 15h should i alter these as their strides are obvouisly going to be different?

For most horses, a trot stride is approximately 4ft, 6inches (1.4m). it xan vary, however like you said between horses and ponies with exceptionally long or short strides.
Distance between poles is 4-5ft which will allow for a single step between each (walk and trot). Each hoof should be placed midway between each pole
