Staying safe on your own at night (possible incident?)

You are very brave I hate being by myself in our field and certainly wouldn't be if i had found something like that in my car!!

We have a main road along one boundary which means that while we have plenty of noise and movement and light we also get the odd people stop in a gateway for a wee or whatever.. I could hear my friend walking towards me last night because the wheelbarrow was squeaking but I really freaked her out when I said hello as she was virtually next to me and hadn't seen me.. so it does then make me wonder how many people could move around without me knowing! :ninja:

my friend has her dogs with her which I think reassures her in the dark and I just avoid being by myself or borrow one!

We have had the police dogs and helicopter out at our old yard before.. turned out to be a slightly mental old lady rather than a horse thief but we weren't to know in the dark!
 
Like Claire1605 says, I'm rather more worried about finding some extra terrestrial life than other people!lol. (WE've had a collection of strange lights in the sky quite often down our way!)
Seriously, it's probably just some juvenille (sp?!) schoolboy who is getting his jollies off thinking about scaring the pants of a nice vulnerable young lady like yourself. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. Where I grew up we often found bits of porno mags lying about! I aren't making light of it, but do try not to worry. You have told the local police? That is a good thing.
I would make myself loud and clear, get a cracking good head-torch and get your stereo cranked up - don't pussyfoot about - try and bolster yourself along if you know what I mean. Do you have anybody that can come with you a few times? (Sorry if you've already said that isn't poss).
I think they'll prob give up in the end. Hope so! Could you stick some excerpts from Horse and Rider mag under the porno ones for them to find? Just to let them know you're not freaked out?????

D just leave them where they are or on the ground then the weirdo would be able to get their kicks by knowing you have looked at the pictures!! I too remember as a kid that there were always pages from porno mags in the woods and on the back of buses!:redface: maybe I just grew up in a weird area:wink:
 
Its been going on for years. Other livery yards have been affected and our local riding school.has had issues. The police did a stake out a few years ago. I remember seeing them sat in an unmarked car for hours as this bloke would wait while we took our horses out the field, rode, fed etc and we would come back to a lovely present under.the padlock on the gate.

Images excited now i to collect evidence. Do.you think i should photo the position i find out them? What should i put them in? The police have said to all the yards do not touch it just hand it
