Hello everyone. I had a look to see if I could find a thread already with this topic but as I'm not a subscriber I was unable to post or view the current thread for photography.
So i give you:
"The open photography thread"

Everyone is welcome to post pictures they're proud of, of any subject matter.
You don't have to be a photographer or have the fanciest equipment to post. You just have to enjoy taking pictures.

So everyone have fun.

My weapons of choice are my Samsung galaxy j5 (always at hand) and my Cannon eos 1100d.
I upload to Flickr every so often with some of my more favourite pictures.

Here's a few of mine to get started taken with my cannon. (Not sure how to insert images without posting the link or adding to my media)

I've hardly taken any images since getting Harvey, but here are a few of my favourites:

Stunning shots! Love the barn owl.
How do you insert your images to your post like that? I tried but just made a booboo
Do you use any editing software?
They're all so crisp and clean looking.

Thanks! :) :)
To insert the images click the icon that its 7th from the left at the top of the reply pane. Its to the right of the smiley face and its got mountains and a sun on it (if you hover over it should say media) When you click it it brings up a box and you just past your link into it. Sadly though it doesn't seem to work for your links :( Maybe flickr doesn't allow 3rd party links (or maybe its a setting)

I use Adobe Lightroom for editing (I capture images in raw format so I have to use something to convert them). I don't do much editing though - just crop and levels usually.

A few more of mine. All these are pretty old. Never really have the time these days to go the same walks and to take photos.
Once again taken on my cannon

Wow brilliant photos on here so far, keep them coming! I love taking pictures, everyone's always complaining that I post too many horse pictures on social media! Screenshot_2017-09-02-22-29-48_1.jpg Screenshot_2017-09-02-22-30-53_1.jpg Screenshot_2017-09-02-22-32-48.png

I'm not very skilled or anything but the way I see it is I have too many hobbies to be really good at any of them :P

Oh here's one I'd taken about 10 years ago (definitely not recent ) using my old fujifilm. Not the best composition or anything but it's of a possible Scottish wild cat hybrid I spotted one day just casually walking past my old house (I used to live in the back of beyond up in the hills)

I thought scottish wild cat when I saw this, the face looks domestic, but the tail looks very wildcat

Love the horse in the snow! (and all the other by everyone, but the horse in the snow really caught my eye)

Yeah it was deffinately not a true wild cat but most likely some wild cat in there possibly a descendant of a hybrid maybe. It certainly wasn't friendly anyways.
