Another of the social rides I organise today, nearly 10 miles with old friends and new we did the river crossing but it was crazy busy with families there so didn't pause to take pics.
Yes it was great, we were out 6 hours in all, enjoyed the forest which smells amazing in the warm after wet weather last week, then under the railway, down to the river for a splash and up to the pub where we sat for a most an hour before tootling home, it was a perfect day. My thermometer on my saddle reached 33c at one point but it was nice and cool in the trees.
Not unless she's not enjoying it (like if I'm holding her back/behind others or if we got the same route too much) she's a storming Norma and loves leading the way
I didn't really think about it, the route we did with everyone was just shy of 10 miles, Jess did an extra 4.5 miles there and back and another mile when we left the group to go and find someone who was meeting us part way round (they weren't where they were meant to be) so she actually did 15/16 miles all told It's so easy to rack up the extra miles.
