The Single Rancher Girl's Diary

Well... I thought he was a bit out of my league so I didn't expect him to really ask me out again (although when we parted he said that was fun we should do this again)
But...I did hear from him again! He said he had a lovely evening and would like to know when I'm available again... So I did. There will be a second date with Mr wow. :-)

You sound to be having lots of dates and you go girl!!!

All I can tell you after having been married, divorced, dated etc ............... that there are nice men out there. Maybe not flashy, spoil you rotten and confess undying love to you after date three, but men who ultimately after you have known them for a while and you click, look after you amazingly well, are loyal and who you would trust with your life.

Looking forward to your updates!!! And how is the beautiful Minnie?

Minnie is doing great. :)
DJ has been worrying me because he has lost some weight over the summer. Come to find out Mr Grumpy has mellowed with age and is now letting Bixby eat from his bowl.
So we switched to half regular/ half senior feed and he's locked in his stall until he's finished so that all those extra calories actually end up on his butt -not Bixby's. :)

What else has been going on?

My divorce is final! YAY!
I got my German maidenname back.
The bank approved my loan for the little ranch.

I've started renovating the house to my liking (been married to Mr White Walls for a decade so am binging on color now!)

My lovely bedroom:

While dating Mr Iffy he told me a few times that he felt he would feel a lot better if my divorce was through. I couldn't understand what the big deal was but apparently it mattered to him.

Mr Wow turned out kind of boring and none of the other daters really made me feel as Mr Iffy did.

While I was dating and divorcing though Mr Iffy really put a lot of effort into things. And once the divorce was through he took me out to a lovely restaurant, even dressed up (very un-Mr.Iffy-like) and he has just been trying very hard.

He even invited me to an impromptu getaway.

He's not the most suave dater but I just really like him. Not sure where things are going but I am happy with where they are right now.

I've also had fun times with friends and went to see Willie Nelson live (do people in the UK know who Willie Nelson is?)

Next week Mr Iffy and I are going on a road trip to add another member to my little animal family... updates as they become available :D

I like the sound of Mr. Iffy...anyone who is happy to go on a road trip to increase the livestock is looking good to me!

Willie Nelson? Are you kidding me, he is part of my misspent youth? You would have to be living in a cave not to know himself,. TBH I am more than a little surprised he is still giging - he can't be young anymore thats for sure. :)

He is 81 and just got his 3rd degree blackbelt. He still looks great and sounds just as good as ever. He sells out big venues but he still comes and performs in this little hole in the wall country tavern here in San Antonio where he got started.
It was a lovely quaint place.

My phone has a hard time with stage lighting so you can't really recognize Willie in any of my pics although I could see him perfectly well :/

Here's a pic of Mr Iffy and I from July when we went kayaking :D
I love that he always does stuff I like to do with me. lol

Okay here's my new baby. As you may know I've had pygmy goats for about 8 years. They are considered dwarf meat goats. Since mine were wethers (neutered boys) they pretty much are just good for keeping weeds down and for fun.
I figured it would be really fun to have a goat that actually produces something and they do have a dwarf version of a dairy goat too. They are called Nigerian Dwarf Goats and are supercute.

So... a registered Nigerian Dwarf goat will join us next week. She is show quality so the kids can also show her which will be fun. :)

Her name is Purple Ladybug in the Breeze. She is so cute.

The breeder is moving to Michigan unexpectedly and can't take her with her because it's a very long move and it will be very cold up in Michigan in January...and Ladybug is due with kids end of January/beginning of February!

So we will have tiny baby goats then and a milk goat in the Summer when the babies are weaned.

The Buck she was bred to is registered as well. He has some awesome coloring. I think the babies will be adorable (Nigerians tend to have multiples)

I am glad to hear about Mr Iffy but much more important, I LOVE your bedlinen! Is this in the new place?
It is the new old place. I am buying the little ranch from my ex so the horses can stay where they have always been. :)
I am just totally redoing the house to make it all MINE. No more boring stuff. :)

Mr Iffy and I had a lovely trip to get my goat. Last night we went out with some of my friends and it was really nice how normal life can be.
My ex never liked my friends or going out. And Mr Iffy is so easygoing. :)

I should be closing on the house in the next couple of weeks. I'll feel better once that's all finalized.

Here are my munchkins and I in front of OUR house!

Hurray a new diary to follow. I confess I misread your last Mr Iffy post. I thought you wrote you SHOT HIM over and over again. So I thought you must have meant you shot an effigy of him (the liver, heart and lung picture) which seemed a bit harsh with the guy stood right next to you! Glad I re read the post!!! Otherwise I'd bd thinking wow you really don't want to upset Karin!

Oh my gosh this is so funny to read now! Mr 'not so Iffy anymore' and i have been together for 10 years now!
He was absolutely the best this month when DJ had to be euthanized. Was very grateful to have him there with me.
