Those Little ponies were darlings...

With a bell being clanged in their ears, kids all armed with "Specsaver" balloons, the brass band, you name it they meeted and greeted down the street in the parade like the Queen herself. Those two ponies genuinely like children, Whiffy held up the whole parade as she was hell bent on stopping and speaking to every single child en route. Not a flicker from either of them, I am so proud of them both.

I do get cross when folk trot out the old line about Shetland ponies being bad tempered and vicious....it's the same as the dangerous dog debate.

Brilliant - great pics - I'm with you Wally - unless they have enjoyed the Shetland experience they should hold their tongues - plenty of Character and cheek but not Nasty!

Oh, wonderful; those ponies are real stars! They've certainly got their money's worth out of those jumpers - do you wash them?

well done ponies, our Aimee donkey would do this and frisk everyone on the way for carrots and polos, her speciality is ram raiding prams as there are usually bits of biscuits lurking...

Yes they have to go in the bath with Woolite, and a quick spin and on the line. Good as new, but the hairs won't come out
