When I got my horse he had it. Not real bad, but bad enough. I have had him for 3 1/2 months and even after the trimmings and all the coppertox(I think it is called, green sticky and a smelly substance). He still seems to have it. I do my best to keep his feet dry and clean and apply that stuff everyday. Even after the rides in the snow I dry them. I also have used hooflex. I was told bleach and water, Should I use that with the coppertox(?), before or after or not at all. He has been very good about lifting his feet(after all this time working on it), but lately he has been a pain about it, even with the treats that I have been using for when he does. The Farrier said that it was getting better, but the smell has been getting stronger, does that mean it is getting worse? Thanks for the help -
