I will have to put lamb at the top. Just had two very nice cutlets from the butchers with the marinade.

So it's

Lamb
Chicken
Pork
Beef
Venison

However how it's prepared makes a difference. I would put belly pork 2nd for example.
I don't like roast.
Diced Venison above the burger, bit of a dry meat.

So over to you

Love a nice roast of top side beef
Lamb gigot roast
Full bird - chicken, but turkey at Christmas lol
Love game roasted but hard to come by now where I am.
Not keen on venison. I find it too rich and too meaty.

Turkey I find a bit boring. Had some diced for a curry but not really my thing.
I wasn't sure on duck as I suppose that depends on what you get. I wouldn't want a whole bird

I’ve been vegetarian for 34 years! Not on moral grounds, I’m just weird about textures plus had a bad experience with meat when I was 11 and never went back to it. I still happily cook it for others, I tend to do roast lamb if I am.

I find turkey gets the ridiculous end of the stick when it comes to people and recipes. I mean come on, there's only so much turkey you can eat at Christmas! I like it on the day and Christmas Eve. But after that no thanks. We made a turkey kibble last year for breakfast on Boxing day which was nice. But I don't go mad for turkey curry, turkey frittata, turkey stir fry etc etc. It just gets out of hand lol
We only buy a small bird. The smallest one available as Royal Mail wouldn't deliver my new table top oven despite having a place for it to be left and then they helpfully returned it to the seller. Okay ranting now..................

I'm surprised I'm not a veggie. When I was growing up in the late seventies / early eighties my mother used to buy the most horrid meat from the butchers. It was all we could afford but honestly - I'd rather just have potatoes and carrots! Mince used to be horrible back then, just 99 per cent fat. Shin beef was pretty bad and I actually preferred meat and potato pie made using tinned corned beef. Lol. We did eat a lot of fish though, usually plaice or smoked haddock from the fish market in the next town that my nan would bring.

Lamb is my favourite, in any shape or form.
Chicken is my go-to for daily protein, and it's very versatile.
I'm not so keen on roast beef, but I do love a good steak especially with a blue cheese sauce 🤤

I had steak last night, it was rump and very tasty! That sounds interesting - the blue cheese sauce. I have only really ever had steak diane sauce.
