TGIF! Weekend Plans?

Work as always but hope all of you enjoy your weekends whatever you get up to!
As for ghost hunts, OH took me to a reputedly haunted hotel Ettington Park, for my birthday as it was one of my 'bucket list' items to spend the night in a haunted house, did we see or feel anything, well I'll tell you, the whole night past with no sight nor sound of anything spooky, in fact the whole atmosphere was beautiful, peaceful and very welcoming, got up next morning with stiff shoulders as hadn't slept great, anyhow sitting at breakfast, we were completely alone in the dining room (were always first for breakfast as my body clock wakes me at 5.30 come what may) sitting enjoying a wonderful breakfast when out of the blue I felt as though someone had placed their hand in the middle of my back, it was warm and very comforting but the most odd feeling, it lasted for a couple of minutes and them went as quick as it came? Could it have been a ghost? I've no idea, probably indigestion lol, but it wasn't coming from inside by body if that makes sense, so maybe, who knows. I like to think it was my Mum giving me a mini massage :)

Well I've had a spring clean at the field, groomed both ponies, poo picked and the dogs enjoyed a couple hours pottering in the sunshine. Heading off riding now then have dogs from work to walk will take them all out together. Need to move the hen run with 4 chicks and mum in,been warned she is protective so shall be pecked to death I think. Then will take Neala and Torin for a dander and head to the hall to give them a bath and a freshen up.
Tomorrow I'm laying the rubber mats in my hemmel,14 and they are the heavy ones will be a good job done but I've been putting it off as they are sooooooo heavy! Putting down some grass seed at the field, topping up some bare areas and need to dig a patch to plant the wild flower mix ive got. Will also collect some gorse and willow to hang in the hemmel for them and riding 2 horses and walking dogs. All outside things which I love!

Ooooh! How interesting!

Well today I WILL NOT BE riding.:(Storm had a very silly turn yesterday and we are thinking of her tendon again. Long story short, she took exception to Chloe going up to the top of the hill and was not happy at her own small paddock - it was pretty eaten down. Anyway, she cavorted and whinnied (pretty sure they heard her in the next county) so I fetched her in. She went into the arena and performed wall of death followed by a floaty trot up and down the yard. Horrible. Anyway, we hosed her leg and have been applying ice boots. Please send any spare healing vibes! No swelling or heat as yet, fingers crossed. I will be keeping a beady eye on her all weekend tho!:(

@Lissie I've done a ghost walk here in edinburgh before. In what is called the vaults. I never felt anything spooky tho. Hoping to do Mary Kings Close in the half term holiday. (It's a buried Street here that was blocked off due to the plague with people still in it!! -thats possibly an urban myth! -It is exactly as it was in the 17th Century just a bit dusty!)

They had Mary Kings Close on a haunted show over here.:D
That looked amazing to go thru!;)
I'm jealous- but in a good way:)

There was a series of 3 really good older shows over here.
Castle ghosts of England
Ireland
Scotland
hosted by Robert Hardy and Omg I loved him from All Creatures Great and Small

Amazing places .:D
I think I totally would have been creeped out to go to the one with the Oubliette in it.
The thought of that was horribly creepy even on tv.
And ugh someone was actually still living in that castle:eek:

Mixed fortunes at Chatsworth: 1 friend won the 100cm arena aventing event, another crashed out of the 1* event. I was filming the fence she fell at and it was horrible as she didn't move for quite a while. But she's ok. Lots of big names there today: Saw Mary King on the X-C flying over everything. Legend!

Woo hoo we got the trailer yesterday!
My husband drove it home. I will take it for a drive today to get the feel of it:D
Had a super afternoon ride in the neighborhood. They finally finished the roads in there;)

I will start to put things in his lovely tack room later today!
I never have to use the horses boots here so things like that will find a permanent home in there
so that I don't have to be putting those in before I go some place.

Thanks for asking, she seems okay (touches wood). We cold hosed and applied the ice boot yesterday and didn't walk her like we normally do. Today she seems fine too, so hopefully no harm done.

Morning @Trewsers how's Storm today? Fingers crossed she's ok!
