2026 in photos

Okay a bit of silliness. My excuse: my pony can't be ridden atm and I am at a loss. So this is what happens - hahahaa. I'm taking part in a trial for a certain hair product. Mr Trews took a photo when my parcel arrived today. Capt Beaks approved as well.

Jess had somehow knotted her tail around her fillet string while I was away, I thought I was going to have to cut half her tail out, but somehow I managed to unpick this mess and lost very little!

I took loads but you get one as you won't want loads.

Now I have a question.
Where is the water coming from. Yes it's run off, but from where we've had no rain.
We are not forecast to get at until next week.
Please reply in simple terms that land holds water and it's just the surface that's a dry as a bone.

Reminds me of Ingleton waterfalls where I used to go walking.

Storm back in her old box last night as Fuz had the main byre. Its like musical horses here at the mo!

And Felix keeping me company this morning (read: watching me do all the work whilst lounging - cats are so good at doing that aren't they).

This is Husky (Aka Mr Whiskers) using mind power to let me know that he expects more chicken - now! Whenever we have a full bird he comes into the kitchen and admires it through the oven window and Mr T promises him ten per cent. Last night he had a plate full of little warm pieces. And he had some for breakfast. I daren't over do it, else he will be sick! He's been camped out in that spot in the utility room all morning and carefully watching me wash feed bowls etc. Just in case there's a bag of chicken somewhere. I will give him some for his supper - I've saved him some more.

My friend Capt Beaks joined me this evening on my fence checking. He knows I carry gingernut biscuits.

Storm in the distance - I was at the bottom and zoomed in a bit. Head down enjoying the evening sunshine.

Fuzzy's new boots. Its part of my late afternoon routine now to clean them inside and dry them. The inner pads are weird. Remind me of onions when you look closely.
