Okay, confession, so I don't actually own a criollo but I'm still obsessing about them so have opened this thread in the hope EVERYONE who has one will post a pic for the rest of us who have an interest in can see :D. I know some of you have posted before on various threads but it would be nice to have them all in one place......

Over to you guys;);)

Thanks for posting the beach ride pics - they all looked beautifully turned out. It must be great fun going out in a big gang. Thanks everyone for posting - those still lurking in the background, don't be shy, show us your pics :D

Hi all, Great Auntie and myself have fallen for these fab horses. We have been riding at Moniques for about 4 months and now we have decided to have our own!! We have found a great livery place which means we can ride on the Longleat Estate. Hopefully it won't be long and we can post our pics on here too and join the rides each month. We can't wait!!!!!!!

the criollos are pretty versatile, back home (argentina) they're working ranch horses- the gauchos best friend!

over here they're happy hackers, endurance - bit of everything really and the slightly lighter criollos or the criollo x TB are the ones used in polo.

i know moniques have been used for cattle ranching, endurance, eventing, polo, happy hacking western trail riding etc etc

Lovely horses with a great temperament :D

Sadly still not good. Sadly I am away for a long weekend so can't ride him but my friend is taking him out today and she'll let me know how he feels later.

Going to give him one more week and then get the vet out to see what he thinks. :(
