Hello!
Very happy person here - for a change
Been out riding in the woods!!
No piccys though cos not my horses
buuut.....had a fabby time! I'll try to make this as clear as possible...my friend A who i met at RDA but has since left has been looking after W's horses while she is away (W is an RI at the RDA). I am off sick today - told work it's my bad belly but actually i'm feeling really down, can't be bothered, no motivation or enthusiasm for work and feel like my depression is coming back - was in bed all yesterday afternoon crying how sad is that?
Anyway, got up this morning, found an email from my mate A saying come for a ride so i did!! I met her at W's house and she stables her horses at the farm next door - how lucky is that? I rode Millie who is a 30year old skewbald mare, cobby type i think with huge feet and my mate rode the slightly younger Ed (about 20years!!) who is a gorgeous chestnut arab. We groomed them, rode them, put them in the field, mucked out, got their tea ready and had a great time!! A has two crazy wonderful Weimeraners who we let run around at the end and eat poo?? didn't know dogs did that
but the cows were amused!!
Lifted my blues far far away
Just had to tell you all
Even coming home to a letter from my estate agents saying i've missed a rent payment didn't faze me (i haven't missed a payment - they're just rubbish) and then the builder ringing the buzzer to come and look at my roof cos my bedroom wall is leaking when it rains even though i had to run down in my pyjama's and slippers didn't faze me
I wish everyday could be like this one - i've had a brilliant morning and it's amazing how just being outside on lovely ponies in beautiful autumnal woodland can clear your head
Still don't know what to do about work though but i'm having a no-brainer about that (i.e. not thinking about it so there!) and it's not horsey related so shouldn't really discuss here.
But anyway, i'm so happy to discover there are actually some lovely people out there who invite you for pony rides hurrah!!
Plus, hopefully i'll be able to help out there again soon yippee!!
