Does everyone have a mid-life crisis? By this, I mean doing something that will completely change your life.
I am currently having a career change and am 2 years through my 5 years training to be a psychotherapist. The training steps up in September when I start my MSc. It is such a huge change involving spending lots of money on course fees and my own therapy, and leaving less money for the family and for horses. I'm struggling a bit with the enormity of the changes going on. I know that it is absolutely what I want to do and my family are 100% behind me, but at the same time I am terrified. I am ridiculously upset with the loss of my lorry which is just a symbol of the loss of my old life with Ben which I am desperately trying to cling to.
It got me wondering, have any other New Rider friends been through this? What was your 'mid-life crisis'? How did it feel for you?
