At this time of year its very rare I don't have a million yard chores to catch up on at the weekend, but I somehow managed it this weekend. We had a very pingy (Jess) and chilly ride Saturday so I knew Jess would be more settled yesterday, 2nd ride in 2 days and it was about 10c warmer So with no time pressure we pootled off to the 'bulls eye' as we haven't been up there in forever.
We set off in lovely sunshine
This is a couple of miles from home, we've come through the forest, a little village, over the river and a level crossing before getting back into the forest
Looking out over a typical Breckland heath
These are scary horse eating arrows that some unruly person put out there just to torment Jess
Here we are at the bulls eye, I call it that because on a map it is a circle of clear fell with a + of paths through it, and we'll have a nice canter down this one me thinks
Same path from the bottom,
and without moving the next 4 pictures are our options to carry on
Right
Left
Straight
And diagonal right
