Harmony ridden for first time in almost a week, very wired. Very fresh. Naughty madam took off up the field when we came back, with her saddle on. Had taken off her bridle to give her a snack but she high tailed it, so after lugging the saddle back down to the yard, left her naked. She will be cold. But i was definite that there was no way I was lugging her rug up to her after that.....o_O

Fuzzy on her way back out last night about nine o'clock. The Northern lights were out and about and she wanted to see what all the fuss was about lol
I'm no photographer but you get the idea - lovely colours and they made the yard light up and part of the field.

I love these. I missed it and the area had some lovely colours.
I think we might be due again tonight, but it's cloudy isn't it. Currently it's wet I know that.

They were a nice surprise last night. We had almost finished on the yard for the night and I was about to dish up hay etc. And mr trews shouted for me to look and we both watched as they came over the top of us almost. Other times locals tell me about them and I miss them, so was very pleased!

Yep, definitely that time of year isn't it. Even the sanest ones seem sharper don't they.

I am going to look out tonight and just see if the clouds shift. If it stops raining I will just get photos of the cloudy black sky

You might need to squint to see the northern lights 😂
But you can definitely see the green with another little pinky later above.
Not bad considering I am down South.

Managed to whack my eye and give it a purple hue last night. Ruddy sore but no harm done. Just bruised! That will learn me to try and skip out whilst holding a door in the wind along with a bucket, fork and torch. Jeez. Its also got a fetching shade of yellow in there.
