I'm full of admiration for anyone lunging - haven't dared try it with big bum yet. Don't suppose Mr T fancies a trip down south?
Lol to big bum!!! I think practice makes perfect...............(least I hope so!)

Well, get that bloody breakfast on time, dammit! AND - not content with shaming me with all the lovely pics, now you've got videos too - if they had a crying emoji, I'd use it. Lovely to see Harvey in action though, (she said grudgingly.) Actually, how did you do the vid?Another busy weekend for me. Our groom was away so it was an early start both days to help YO turnout and muckout. On Saturday this was followed by a SJ clinic as nearby Applecross. My OH is still crocked after her op so this was the first time I have taken Harvey out on my own. He seemed to realise I was a bit tense and was on his best behaviour. He went well and we jumped up to 95cm.
On Sunday we got on well with out jobs and YO decided to go and jump at Weston Lawns so I invited myself along and another livery came too. Fun to watch but too big for me! After getting back a nice hack round with a fellow livery and then a visit to look after my foster ponies. They have a new field with lots of grass so I wasn't as popular as I normally am when I am feeding them!
Harvey's breakfast was too late for him again, so the rugs were thrown on the floor
Foster pony enjoying the grass
Not sure if this will work, but if it does its a video of me flapping around the 85cm course

Lovely. It really is the best way to end a day.Well we hacked further this yesterday evening across the road....down the tracks. Then along the riverbank. We were out over an hour if was fabulous. I felt wonderful out and about again after our break from riding.... we went out with 3 fell ponies. The sun was shining, swans on the river.... no mishaps all safely home again.

Off on holiday on Thursday, so last ride before that today. My heart sank as I rode down the lane, as I could see cows in the inclosure. Shouldn't have worried - such a good boy. We took a route we haven't done that often, and passed within 40 ft of 3 cows, and after a death stare, he moved on beautifully. Am going to get to grips with doing more with him when we get back. Hopefully just a week of being away won't undo what we've done.
One of the other riders Mum was videoing so she took one of me too with her phoneActually, how did you do the vid?
Back from hols, so up the field at 7.30 this morning to go out. Decided on an easy route, and lo! Big bloody white horned cows, AND donkeys, everywhere! Huffy puffy, prancy dancy, eyes on stalks and grew to 16 hh. Got off, walked past - totally fine . Got back on, and enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I'm making a mental note of logs etc. that I can use to mount from, and avoid the fat tummy saddle slip lol. All that aside, it was lovely to come back to this:View attachment 99795View attachment 99796View attachment 99797
