Well 3-4 coats of paint later and we are still painting fitting it in with everyday life and the horses. But where it’s had a final coat it’s looking great think another week or two till the painting is done as it will need 4 coats on the roof yet.
Progress has been slow but it’s finally getting there.
The ceilings done yay 2 coats of white 2 coats of ivory. It’s looking so bright and is in place on a sun trap terrace facing the sunshine from 8 to 8pm in the summer.
My plans have somewhat changed due to the virus I won’t be car booting or visiting the charity shops. So will be scouring eBay and Amazon for bargains ❤ Where there’s a will there’s away.
I am continuing to add up total expenditures earlier in this thread. I know it’s a bit like watching paint dry this thread..... but from tomorrow I will be able to start stage two.... furnishing ...... yay
I love this thread! You're going to have hours of fun filling it with bits and bobs. Ebay is your friend - you can get things delivered so easily. No need to root about at sales either - everything you could ever want is at your fingertips!
And finally flooring down it’s a stone effect vanilla in cream/grey and my furniture in, cushions odd pic in too.......work finished fr today I have a settee, a book case a huge glass top table with the word “love” written in all the languages.... so my love table and two black chairs.... the table will be my desk and worktop.
You and Graham are going to use that loads, I know it's a she shed but with a comfy couch, lots of windows, a heater and being in a sunny spot it's going to be gorgeous! And too nice for Graham not to hang out with you while you craft
So today is fitting solar lighting inside and out. And permanently finding homes for some of my little treasures and such.... I found a Loydd loom chair in the garage. It needs recovering. A tall black lamp stand I already had spruced up with a cheerful new lampshade that was on sale in BnQ a few weeks ago. Pictures from charity shops, plates, silk flowers etc. Tonight I will be doing my lace and voile panels altering to the right lengths ready to hang tomorrow.
there’s much more to do yet but pleased with it so far. I love that it’s fully girly
Since having the boys at home. My she shed is my tack room. It will eventually have some sheep stuff stored in it too. But at the moment its just my tack. Its not exactly luxury sofas etc but its all my own. Nobody else goes in there. So its exclusively all mine. lol
@Native Lover it looks gorgeous, so cosy and relaxing, I can just imagine curling up on that sofa with a good book in the sunshine, listening to the birds singing and totally relaxing. It’s super and you should be proud of all your hard work.
